I tried working at a local coffee shop after working at Starbucks, but the Trainer was terrible and hardly taught me on how to properly use the espresso machine or the drink recipes. It was a nightmare feeling like I was giving every customer mediocre beverages.

I was at work at a fast food place, and there was a young woman in line at the counter on her phone. You know how sometimes a crowd of talking people will sometimes go quiet? Well, she chose that moment to say, "gurrrrl you know when that test came out positive I dumped his ass!" It was glorious.

I own a restaurant and the third party delivery drivers are insane. Over the past 5 years I’ve had DoorDash drivers steal food and drinks, yell at me and my employees during rushes, leave horrible reviews, some of them come before I even receive the order on the tablet and others mark they are waiting for 20 minutes before actually arriving (doing so hurts my restaurants rating on the app). I’ve been yelled at for not having a $200 order ready 3 minutes after it was placed. I’ve had drivers try to get me to go outside to fight them, other drivers have threatened to murder me. Sometimes I’ll get a driver that flirts with me, there was one driver who would come inside the restaurant 3 times per day to see me and say “Hi”. It’s the people who aren’t super smart and have never had anything that’s considered markers of success. They sign up for DoorDash and view themselves as an entrepreneur business owner and think they are their own boss. My guess is that somewhere in their mind they believe that working for “themselves” means they can behave however they want.

I work at smoothie king and we have a regular who orders pretty much every enhancer and adds a bunch of shit in it to the point where we blend it his smoothie turns black. Meanwhile it’s $23 for a 32oz with all the stuff he’s adding into it. 💀

Meanwhile I've actually had people order: venti almond milk caramel cream crunch frappe with sweet cream cold foam and whip extra, extra caramel drizle, extra dark caramel, extra mocha drizzle, extra caramel crunch, 7 scoops of java chips, extra cookie crunch, 12 pumps caramel, 12 pumps white mocha, quote "extra ice I'll know if you don't." Needless to say the blender sounded like it was going to die thankfully not a regular. Probably a worst experience was a 21 pump vanilla, vanilla sweet cream cold brew where I made it once they said it was extremely wrong I made it again this time holding the pump right at the end of the bar and counting out loud and they then said it wasn't enough and when I asked how many more pumps they wanted they said no you did it wrong 21 pumps no more and I handed it off to the manager who also 'made it wrong' and they refused to take it or a refund or leave and called corporate while blocking the entire handoff. Needless to say soo glad after six years I'm no longer a barista. I loved making coffee and the whole process but the people were shamelessly degrading and I don't need to get called homophobic slurs at five in the morning or at all (lol that's a long post but nowhere near the crazist things that happened).

One day a customer came into the store and asked for the “Harry Potter Butter Beer Frappuccino” I told him that we didn’t have that and he kept telling me “Yes you do, It’s a secret menu item duh.” I told him the Starbucks secret menu items aren’t a thing and he’d have to tell me the steps to his frap. He then goes “All the other Starbucks I go to knows how to make.” Then pulls up the TikTok that he found this Frappuccino on and shoves his phone in my face. I then call over my coworker who’s been there longer than me and they told him most of the ingredients on the post he was showing us was not in the store, so he then rolls his eyes and sucks his teeth then whines to his mom (who was standing next to him the whole time) and she’s like “just get a regular Frappuccino” he’s like “just give me an iced caramel macchiato with two more shots of espresso.” HE WAS LIKE 10!

Some drivers are annoying but usually they're not regulars I absolutely have favourites

Side note: I live in a small town so I've only ever seen at most 5 Uber choices 😳 I've never seen so many options!!! 👀 Scooters?!?!

Please do one about someone who doesn't wanna wait their turn in the drive thru. I work in fast food and it happens all the time, I'll need a second to get orders done so I say hold on a moment and they just go on ordering anyway. I'm sure that's happened in coffee shops too right?

I had to laugh when she said she doesn't like chocolate!! I have a hard time finding non-chocolate items. It's not that I hate chocolate, I rather not have dessert if my only choice is something chocolate.

Anyone who actually enjoys good coffee doesn’t go to Starbucks. Starbucks has become a vanity status half-assed coffee/merchandise vendor. It is where failed albums go to get sold. It’s where snowflakes go to pretend to work in their soon to failed attempt at a novel/screenplay. It where failed divorced parents take their spoiled children to get overly sugared hot chocolate before they pawn them off on their equally failed divorced other half. It where dreams go to die. It’s where people with any real integrity avoid like the plague. It’s where firms that can’t afford to have a conference room go to cry in their coffee over soon to failed business plans. I can go on and on but you se me my point……Starbucks is like a wet soggy towel lying in the floor of a cheap hotel. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
